Following visits to three private venues in September, Sunningdale provided a fitting venue for the Jenahura Tour Championship yesterday.  Congratulations to Alistair Howden – winner with 38 points narrowly pipping Mike Drye and Mike Cowley who both carded 37. Alistair also guided Lawrence Baker to victory in a close fought battle for the team competition.  Beat the Pro with Jamie Elson was typically good fun and we were treated to some fascinating stories from legendary caddy – Pete Coleman.Thank you all for attending and contributing to a wonderful series of Invitational Events this year – The Road to Bermuda 2016.  Many of our long standing guests and friends have said this year has been the best ever.  My annual commitment is to make next years series even better.  We will do just that. For example, you will have seen Jamie Elson recording your swings yesterday.  Jamie is brilliant at analysing “your moves” and having spent nearly 15 years “on tour” there is no one better qualified to help you improve.  Although Jamie will continue to play tournament golf, we have recently extended Jamie’s role as a Jenahura Ambassador and so you will be seeing more of him at our events. Many congratulations to worthy winner Tony Groves who’s consistently good play and participation earned him the top loyalty award – a fabulous 5-night trip to the paradise island of Bermuda courtesy of our friends at Bermuda Tourism and Fairmont Southampton.Huge thanks to all our sponsors and partners for your support and for helping us present a superb set of awards.  Please find attached the final standings and Roll of Honour below:
