Playing in only his second Challenge Tour start of the season, Harry Casey made his first cut on the European Tour’s feeder tour in the Red Sea Egyptian Challenge.
Harry fired an excellent opening round of 68 (-4) which contained five birdies and just a solitary dropped shot. He followed up with a solid second round of 71 (-1) to comfortably make the cut on -5. It was a frustrating day on Saturday for Casey which contained just about everything in a three over par round of 75. Typically though Harry bounced back from the disappointment on moving day to roar to the turn on Sunday in 32, picking up four shots on his outward nine that contained five birdies. The putter turned cold on the back nine and in the end Harry closed with a 2-under par 70, eventually finishing on -4 to collect his first cheque at the higher level.
Well done Harry… we are sure it is a sign of good things to come.
